Skisafari
With snowcats converted to mobile ski lifts, we take you from Galtuer's ski area, past the Zeinisjoch to the Kops reservoir, the starting point for an entertaining and varying forest downhill with possible deep powder snow side trips down to the Montafon village Partenen. The Vermuntbahn takes skiers at a leisurely pace up to 1,730 m. Minibuses take the escursionists on a tunnel route up to the Bielerhoehe. In fair weather, you can see the highest peaks of the Silvretta, also the Piz Buin. After a traditional stop for a snack you go back to Wirl in a quick ride on your skis.
Night skiing
Every Wednesday at 7.30 pm a special event takes place, which may seem a bit strange for those who are in Galtuer for the first time. At a sudden it becomes bright as day. Why? It is the glistening light of the Birkhahnbahn that turns the night into day – until 10.30 pm!

The ice-skating rink in Galtuer is not only for locals a great highlight. Our guests value the sheet of ice as an amusing alternative to skiing. Here they can skate lap after lap. You don't have to bring your own skates, of course - the skate rental directly at the skating-rink has the fitting models.
